Box Tops and Labels for Education

Congratulations to our winners for
November/December - Ms. Patire's 4th Grade Class!!!
Our Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education campaign is well underway for the 2011 – 2012 school year! Please remember – when you send in your Box Tops and/or Labels for Education, make sure the envelope or bag is labeled with your child’s teacher’s name, so we can reward the classes that submit the most. Every two months, the class that submits the most Box Tops/Labels for Education will be rewarded with free snack certificates. The overall winning class for the year will be rewarded at year’s end with a pizza party.
The Box Tops for Education website www.boxtops4education.com lists all the participating products, along with additional ways to earn Box Tops. Each month, you’ll find special promotions and sweepstakes http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/bonus/Default.aspx where you can enter for a chance to win thousands of Bonus Box Tops. Check back often for the latest bonus opportunities and remember to spread the word!
In addition, you can earn eBoxTops by shopping through the Box Tops Marketplace or the Box Tops Reading Room. Each participating retailer at the Marketplace and the Reading Room has agreed to donate a certain number of eBoxTops for every qualifying $10 purchase a Box Tops member makes through http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/marketplace/Default.aspx.

The Labels for Education website (www.labelsforeducation.com) also provides a list of their participating products. When clipping the Labels for Education from Campbell’s soup cans, remember to include the UPC code. Without the code, the label cannot be counted towards our total.
If you have any questions, please email Wendy DeMaio wendy_demaio@yahoo.com, the Box Tops and Labels for Education Coordinator for Wanaque Elementary School.

Giving Tree

On the bulletin board across from the office is hung The Giving Tree.
The Giving Tree is a wonderful tool for parents to show teachers how special we think they are. The PTA has asked each teacher to take inventory in their classroom and make a list of items they need to make their teaching experience — and the students’ learning experience — a better one!
When you purchase an item, feel free to deliver that item personally to the teacher or classroom after school hours, or have your child bring it in and mention it is part of the Giving Tree. You are always welcome to contact someone on the Giving Tree committee to make arrangements for the delivery.
