Pennies for Patients Update

Students at Wanaque School are making a BIG change
by collecting SMALL change.

During two weeks in February, Wanaque Elementary School raised  $890.28 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of New Jersey as part of its Pennies for Patients Campaign.   Students were asked to fill individual collection boxes with spare change to help raise money for kids with blood cancer.  Students could also purchase a paper penny for $1 and be added to the Wall of Hope.  The Pennies for Patients Campaign was run by the school’s National Junior Honor Society.
