The Wanaque Borough Library Bookmark Contest is open to students in the Haskell and Wanaque School systems in grades 4-8. One entry per student. The entry must be completed on this entry blank using the theme "Ready, Set, Read."
Before you draw, think about where you like to read. Do you find a comfortable chair? Do you sit under your favorite tree? Do you read to your cat or dog? Do you read fast to get to the end? Are more like the turtle who takes it slow and easy? Do you like to stir the pot, finding the good sections? What makes you ready to read?
Entries will be distributed by the teachers, but extra forms are also available at the library.
The winning bookmark will be the official bookmark of Wanaque Public Library for 2016 and the artist will win a $50 gift card. A second prize os offered to the runner-up.
Designs must be returned to the Wanaque Public Library by Friday, March 11, 2016.
